Large Police Presence in Cole Harbour
Halifax District RCMP had a large police presence in the vicinity of Forest Hills Pkwy. and Main St earlier today.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. today, police responded to a complaint involving a firearm in the area of Forest Hills Pkwy. and Main St. Traffic was detoured in the area as police surrounded a residence to investigate.
A short time later, a 40-year-old man was arrested without incident. No one was injured.
The RCMP would like to inform Nova Scotians that the matter has been resolved and there is no threat to the public.
