RCMP investigate single vehicle accident involving motorcycle – temporary road closure

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.

At approximately 7:16 p.m. this evening, RCMP were called to a report of a lone motorcycle that had gone off the road on Highway 103 at the inbound off ramp #5 to Tantallon.

The motorcycle was found to be driven by an adult male with a female passenger.​ The male was seriously injured requiring EHS and Life Flight attendance. The female was assessed with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are remaining on scene with an accident investigation unit and the off-ramp from Highway 103 inbound at exit 5 into Tantallon will remain closed until further notice.
