RCMP investigates serious collision
West Hants RCMP is investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred last evening.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. Friday evening, RCMP, EHS and Fire responded to the collision on South Rawdon Rd. in Hillsvale where they located a motorcycle involved in a collision. The motorcycle left the road and went into the ditch. The driver of the motorcycle, a 36-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by Lifeflight.
A collision re-constructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing. The road was closed for several hours but has since been re-opened.
