Halifax Regional Police are investigating a weapons complaint in the 2000​ Block of Gottingen Street, Halifax in the early evening of June 19, 2021.
At approximately 5:21​ p.m. police received a report of a man who had been injured due to puncture wound. The injured male was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what are believed to be life threatening​ injuries.
Members of Patrol,​ Integrated General Investigations Section and Forensic Identification Section are currently conducting the investigation.
The incident remains under investigation and police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 902-490-5016.
