**** Truro Police Release
On Sunday June 6 at approximately 1030 pm a Truro Police officer on mobile patrol observed a vehicle driving erratically coming across the Walker St bridge from Bible Hill into Truro.
The officer conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle, when the driver of the vehicle backed into the police car causing minor damage.
The driver, a 28 year old male from the Truro area was arrested at the scene for impaired driving and breach of probation and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
