AxAir Aviation launches Air Charter Services in Eastern Canada.
AxAir Aviation Inc. has completed their much-anticipated first chartered passenger flight in Eastern Canada. The company, acquired by Port Hastings, NS based Celtic Air Services in the summer of 2020, experienced significant delays in clearing the regulatory hurdles to restart airline operations but is now up and running from their new offices at the Allan J. MacEachen Airport in Port Hastings.
“Getting an airline into operation during a year like 2020 brought with it many more challenges than we had originally anticipated.” says company owner, and now Transport Canada qualified Operations Manager, David Morgan, “We are incredibly fortunate to have reached the finish line of getting everything up and running, or the starting line of beginning operations.”
AxAir Aviation is focusing on marketing their charter services to companies throughout Eastern Canada
that provide essential services across the region and to help Atlantic Canadian Businesses extend their reach.
“By using business aviation, a business in Sydney, Nova Scotia can have employees at ap resentation in Saint John, New Brunswick, in the morning, and be home for dinner. Increasing connectivity and giving our clients the ability to save time spent on the road driving or waiting on almostn on-existent commercial flights is our goal.” says Morgan.
The AxAir Aviation fleet currently consists of a single Cessna 421 aircraft. The twin-engine, pressurized
airplane seats five comfortably with a club seating configuration, a lavatory, and with ample room for getting work done while you travel. With a range of about 1000 miles, people can travel on non-stop flights between any Maritime departure points and from Halifax to destinations in the American Northeast, including New York. AxAir Aviation has plans to add to their fleet and expand throughout Atlantic Canada, but for now is focused on growing their client base by showing them how to save time
and decrease costs by using chartered flights.
