Halifax Regional Police statement following conclusion of missing person search
Today, Halifax Regional Police released the following statement at the conclusion of a search for a missing youth that began on April 22 in the Williamswood area:
“Halifax Regional Police confirm that a missing person search, which began in the Williamswood area on April 22, has now concluded.
We are no longer looking for the youth reported missing to police at approximately 11 am on that day. There is no information to suggest any suspicious circumstances.
Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we are unable to comment further.
“We offer our sincerest thanks to Halifax Search and Rescue teams, the many partners and community members who worked tirelessly to volunteer, assist and support throughout this challenging situation.”
