Hydrant Maintenance – Bedford Highway
Halifax Water crews will be undertaking hydrant maintenance tomorrow (Thursday, April 8th) on the Bedford Highway.
This work will require a lane drop in the outbound lane near 1611 Bedford Highway from 9:00AM – 4:00PM. The sidewalk in the work zone will be closed. There will be no loss of water service.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
