Police Investigate Break & Enter with a Weapon – Dartmouth
At 2:30 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an adult female sprayed with Bear Spray in the 300 Block of Portland Street Dartmouth. A suspect armed with Bear Spray forced his way into an apartment and assaulted the resident with the spray. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim, a 48-year-old female, was checked by paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect is described as:
Suspect – White male, 50-60 years old, heavy set, wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.
Officers are searching for the suspects. Investigators with Patrol and the Forensic Identification Section are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.
