Police Investigate Attempted Robbery – Dartmouth
At 5:00 p.m., 26th February, 2021, Halifax Regional Police responded to an attempted robbery at the Royal Bank of Canada, 40 Tacoma Drive, Dartmouth. 2 males entered the bank and demanded money, indicating they had a firearm. No weapons seen. Suspects left on foot without receiving money.
Suspects last seen running towards the Sobeys on Tacoma Drive. No one was injured. Patrol officers and investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently on scene, completing preliminary investigation and actively searching for the suspects. Suspects are described as 2 males, unknown race, wearing sunglasses, dark masks, dark hoodies ,dark pants. 1 suspect was carrying a red GoodLife Fitness kit bag.
