Police Investigate Attempted Robbery – Dartmouth

At 5:00 p.m., 26th February, 2021, Halifax Regional Police responded to an attempted robbery at the Royal Bank of Canada, 40 Tacoma Drive, Dartmouth.​ 2 males entered the bank and demanded money, indicating they had a firearm.​ No weapons seen. Suspects left on foot without receiving money.​

Suspects last seen running towards the Sobeys on Tacoma Drive.​ No one was injured.​ Patrol officers and investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently on scene, completing preliminary investigation and actively searching for the suspects.​ Suspects are described as 2 males, unknown race, wearing sunglasses, dark masks, dark hoodies ,dark pants. 1 suspect was carrying a red GoodLife Fitness kit bag.
