Police charge man for five break and enters

Police have charged a man for five break and enters that occurred in Halifax last month.

On January 19 police responded to five separate break and enters into commercial properties; two on Granville Street and one each on Dresden Row, Queen Street and Agricola Street. A man broke into the businesses and took alcohol from one location and cash from the others.

Investigators arrested the man without incident on Gottingen Street in Halifax.

Steven James Dewolfe, 37, of Halifax, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face five counts of break and enter and one count of breaching a court order.
