Update: Missing Person located

The 26-year-old who was reported missing from Pugwash has​ been located and is safe.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance and retweets on social media.

Update: Missing Person: Help the RCMP find Steven LaPierre

The RCMP has determined that Steven LaPierre was in Moncton on the evening of January 8 and may be travelling further West.

Cumberland District RCMP​ continue to ask for the public’s assistance to locate 26-year-old Steven LaPierre of Pugwash. LaPierre​ was last seen walking near Cheryl’s Bakery (near the bridge) on Main Street in Pugwash around 2:00 p.m. on January 8. ​

Steven​ LaPierre is described as a white male, 6-foot tall, approximately 300 pounds with​ brown hair. When last seen LaPierre was​ wearing​ a dark grey coat with a hood, a grey toque, blue jeans, and light coloured boots.​ 

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.​
