The RCMP is updating on the search for the five missing fishermen from the Chief Williams Saulis fishing vessel.
Yesterday, the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team (URT), in partnership with the Canadian Coast Guard who provided a platform, performed side scan sonar. The search did not locate the missing vessel.
Due to unfavourable conditions, there is no search activity today. Weather and water conditions will be assessed each day in determining when to resume searching.
The Nova Scotia RCMP will be providing the public with updates and information as the search for the missing fishermen continues.
