Update: Charges laid​ in fatal single vehicle​ collision

The RCMP have charged a Westville man following a fatal single vehicle collision that happened​ ​ July 16 on Egypt Rd. in Hillside.

​

On July 16 at approximately 1:36 a.m. Pictou District RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash where a vehicle left the roadway and overturned. One woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other occupants were transported to hospital.​

The police investigation followed.​

The driver, 18-year-old Connor Roland MacLeod, is scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on April 5, 2021 to face the following charges:
