Update: Man wanted by police on province-wide warrant arrested

The​ 49-year-old man from Fall River for whom a province-wide warrant was obtained is now in custody. Halifax District RCMP have arrested him without incident last night. The man has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.

Halifax District RCMP has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man who has been charged with offences relating to an incident that occurred on November 7, in Lower Sackville.

Dean Michael Schrader, 49, of Fall River, is charged with:
• Assault
• Overcome Resistance by Choking
• Fail to Comply with Court Order
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 3

Schrader is described as white, 6-foot tall and 225 pounds. He has dark brown hair and green eyes. He has access to a grey 2003 Buick Rendezvous with Nova Scotia licence plate GHY882

Police have made several attempts to locate Schrader, however are requesting assistance from the public.

Members of the public are asked to not approach Schrader if he is located, and call police.
