Police investigate weapons complaint

Police are investigating a weapons complaint at a business in Halifax that occurred earlier this afternoon.

At approximately 3:05 p.m. police received a report of a man who had sprayed several people with a sensory irritant at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Quinpool Road in Halifax. EHS treated a number of people at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man with long brown hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a bright blue and orange windbreaker.

The incident remains under investigation and police are asking anyone with information about this incident or video from the area is asked to call 902-490-5016.
