This year, RCMP employees and their families showed their competitive spirit by taking part in the RCMP pumpkin carving contest.
Entries were received from coast to coast to coast! A winning pumpkin from each province was entered into the final contest to be crowned the national winner. The National pumpkin carving winners that were selected by the Commissioner are:
???? 1st Place – Manitoba – Cst. Britt Filz, Fisher Branch Detachment (RCMP)
???? 2nd Place – Alberta – Chestermere Detachment (Sgt. Spookie)
???? 3rd Place – Nova Scotia – Cpl. Kathy Lugosi, Cpl. Brad MacSwain, Cpl. Jason Anthony and Marge Dodds, Bible Hill Detachment (Three Wise Pumpkins)
???? Honourable mention – Nunavut
