What to do if you are experiencing delays in receiving email notification of COVID-19 test results.

Over the past few days, the system that emails COVID-19 test results has experienced some issues, resulting in delayed delivery of results for some people. This issue is being addressed. We recognize it’s stressful to wait for your results; we’re sorry if that’s been your experience.

 

If you have been waiting more than 72 hours for your test results (not including rapid test results), please call Public Health at 1-844-996-0694. To help the Public Health team respond as efficiently as possible:

• Please wait 72 hours before calling.
• Only leave a voicemail once. Otherwise it creates further delays in calling people back.
• Speak clearly when you leave your message. Provide your full name (spell it out), health card number and phone number.
• Leave your phone on and keep it with you at all times. Public Health staff will try calling twice.
