We are saddened to announce the recent passing of retired Police Service Dog (PSD) Nico
Nico was a loyal partner, friend and companion to Cst. Kevin MacDonald during his time in the field. Nico had an exceptional 8-year career with Halifax Regional Police before retiring two years ago.
Over the years, Nico successfully apprehended criminals, located evidence, and recovered lost persons.
Our condolences go out to his HRP colleagues.
