She’s lookin’ good!
Back in February we posted about two female eagles that had grounded themselves after locking their talons together and refusing to let go. One of the pair didn’t sustain any serious injuries and was released a week later, but the other eagle suffered a broken humerus bone in her left wing.
Today, she’s doing much better. We have removed the pin from her wing and transferred her to our giant outdoor flight cage for her to begin strengthening the wing and for us to be able to evaluate the final stage of her rehabilitation.
As always, we have hope that she will be back soaring in the wild skies soon!
