RCMPNS conducted 29 checkpoints, checking 1518 vehicles, across the province on National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day.

RCMP officers arrested 4 impaired drivers, issued 4 provincial driving suspensions for impaired driving, charged 1 distracted driver and charged 2 drivers for seat belt violations.

You can expect to see checkpoints and RCMPNS officers throughout the province at all times of day and night this holiday season as part of our efforts to help make Nova Scotia’s roads and highways safer.
