Police on scene of weapons call
Update on this call, a 38-year-old man was taken in custody without incident. Police will remain on scene for the time being, but the street has re-opened.
There was no threats to public safety.
We thank the public for their cooperation.

At approximately 2:25 p.m. officers were called to a residence on Tophill Road in Bedford in relation to a weapons investigation. There will be a visible police presence in the area for an extended period of time.
Police are asking the public to remain away from the area while they conduct the investigation.
