Police Investigate Break & Enter with Firearm – Halifax

At 2:25 a.m., 4 June, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress into a home in the 200 block of Spencer Avenue Halifax.​ ​ One male suspect forced his way into the residence and was confronted by the home owner.​ ​ The home owner forced the suspect out of the residence and sustained minor injuries in the process.​ The suspect fled on foot.​ The home owner did not require medical treatment.​

Police did locate and arrest a 33 year old male from Halifax a short distance from the residence and he will be facing charges of Assault and Break & Enter.​ ​

Investigators from Patrol and the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating.​
