Police Investigate Break & Enter with Firearm – Halifax
At 2:25 a.m., 4 June, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress into a home in the 200 block of Spencer Avenue Halifax. One male suspect forced his way into the residence and was confronted by the home owner. The home owner forced the suspect out of the residence and sustained minor injuries in the process. The suspect fled on foot. The home owner did not require medical treatment.
Police did locate and arrest a 33 year old male from Halifax a short distance from the residence and he will be facing charges of Assault and Break & Enter.
Investigators from Patrol and the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating.
