Dr. Carolyn Thomas and Deputy Chief Sheriff Leanne Sample spoke about their experiences in law enforcement and were joined by Charla Williams, Vicki Samuel and Anne Simmons for a Q & A session which allowed the large audience to interact and ask questions, share praise or experiences.

The event was well attended at RCMP HQ in Dartmouth and highlighted achievements and goals for the African community not only in policing but in many other community based aspects.
