“Unfortunate news. With all thats going on I have been unable to do any work on this Tournament and I sure can’t ask local businesses and people to support it when folks are laid off or shut down completely. Also when this thing does start to clear up, I dont know how we will be able to do carts and feed 200+ people. I’m sure there will be some pretty strict rules in place – IF we are even allowed to play by then.
I was trying to hold off on this as long as possible. Give you all something to look forward to. But I think its time to shut er down. Also thought about moving it to the Fall but I dont want to have to all this work again just to potentially cancel again.
So its best to take our medicine, cancel, and come back bigger and better next season!!

“This is the 6th year for the Event, we’ve raised over $65k for Mental Health initiatives for Military and Emergency Services. ”
“Formerly The Help Our Heroes Charity Golf Tournament, we have changed the name to remember our friend, Kyle Currie, a Halifax Professional Firefighter as well as a skier, water skier, mountain biker, prankster, and overall awesome guy.
As with previous years, 100% of the proceeds from this Event will go to PTSD and Mental Health initiatives for Military and 1st Responders. Specifically,
The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia in support of The Tema Foundation.
