On February 10th, 2020 at 12:53pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 111 in Dartmouth.
The accident involved a tractor trailer and a minivan.
Two females, a thirty three year old and a twenty seven year old, were taken to hospital. One female remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The highway at the time of the accident was snow covered and slippery. The accident is still under investigation and no charges have been laid.
Halifax Regional Police would like to remind motorists to consider the road conditions at all times while driving and to allow for greater stopping distance when roads are snow covered.
