“Snow, rain and wind on Tuesday.

Total snowfall: 5 to 15 cm.
Total rainfall: 20 to 40 mm.
Maximum wind gusts: 60 to 80 km/h.

Location: Nova Scotia.

Time span: Tuesday morning until Tuesday evening.

Remarks: Snow will start Tuesday morning and then change to rain by noon over mainland Nova Scotia. The snow will persist into the afternoon over Cape Breton and then mix with rain. The rain may become heavy at times over southwestern Nova Scotia.

Current indications suggest that rainfall warnings for 25 mm or more may be required for southwestern Nova Scotia while snowfall warnings of 15 cm or more are possible in Cape Breton.
