Blue Forest Lane – Culvert & Hydrant Replacement
On Monday, October 26, Dexter Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water, will begin work to replace a culvert and a fire hydrant near 42 Blue Forest Lane, Hammonds Plains. There will be a lane drop in the work zone; see attached map.
This work will take place from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day and will continue until Thursday, October 29.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

Quinpool Road – Lane Drops for Paving Work
On Monday, October 26, Ocean Contractors, on behalf of Halifax Water, will be undertaking paving work near 6237 Quinpool Road. This work will take place between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
During this work, Quinpool Road will be reduced to two lanes, one inbound lane and one outbound lane. See attached map. The crosswalk will be closed near the work zone; a marked detour will be in place.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
