One year ago, we lost our brother, Captain Billy Marr, at just 46 years old to occupational colorectal cancer. Billy was known for his strength, kindness, and dedication to the job.
Today, we remember him and continue to push for early cancer screening and prevention for all fire fighters. Cancer is the leading cause of death in our profession, and early detection saves lives.
We honour Billy by carrying this fight forward.
