**** Municipal Release
Traffic Delay – Stokil Drive
Location: Stokil Drive between Sampson Drive and Spinner Crescent
Date: Tuesday, Feb. 18 to Friday, Feb. 21
Time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work details: This is required for sewer service installation.
Traffic impact: Detour signs will be in place to direct vehicle traffic around the work zone. Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Road Closure – Jubilee Road
Location: Jubilee Road between Vernon and Robie streets
Date: Feb. 3 to Feb. 16
Time: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Work details: This closure is in support of tree pruning, as well as the installation of utility poles and overhead wire for new developments.
Traffic impact: Local traffic will be allowed from Vernon, Henry and Edward streets. Jubilee Road will not be accessible from Robie Street. The north sidewalk on Jubilee Road will remain open during construction. The south sidewalk on Jubilee Road will be closed.
Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Traffic Delay – St Margarets Bay Road
Location: St Margarets Bay Road, between Quarry Road and Crescent Avenue
Date: Monday Feb. 17
Time: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Work details: This is required for a utility pole replacement.
Traffic impact: Fenwood Road, between St Margarets Bay Road and Shady Lane and Coronet Avenue, between St Margarets Bay Road and Crown Drive will be closed while work is underway with local access maintained.
Stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway. Signed detours and traffic control personnel will be on site to guide motorists through the work area. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Lane Closure – Robie Street
Location: Robie Street between Bell Road and Veterans Memorial Lane (northbound only)
Date: Tuesday, Feb. 18 to Wednesday, March 26
Time: 24/7
Work details: This lane closure is due to expansion of the encroachment on Robie Street to support the development of the QEII Halifax Infirmary Expansion Project.
Traffic impact: Two lanes of northbound traffic will be closed. Left turns from Robie Street onto Quinpool Road will not be permitted for northbound traffic. Southbound traffic will not be impacted.
Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
The following crosswalks at the intersection of Robie Street, Bell Road, Quinpool Road will be closed:
- Bell Road
- Robie Street south
Pedestrians are asked to use alternative crosswalks to navigate around the intersection.

Traffic Delay – Hollis Street
Location: Hollis Street, between Sackville and Salter streets
Date: Sunday, Feb. 16
Time: 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Work details: This work is required for power utility upgrades in the area.
Traffic impact: The section of Hollis Street between Sackville and Salter streets will be closed to traffic while work is underway. A marked detour will be in place. Truck traffic is encouraged to follow truck-specific signage to remain on Barrington Street and avoid Hollis Street. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes wherever possible.
