As we enjoy the convenience of e-bikes and scooters, it’s important to remember the shared responsibility we have to keep our roads safe. These vehicles offer great mobility, but just like any other form of transportation, we all need to follow the rules and be mindful of others on the road!
Bikes, scooters and e-bikes are subject to the same rules of the road as any other vehicle. Please remember the following:
1)Follow traffic laws—obey all road signs, signals, and speed limits.
**Bicycles MUST travel with the flow of traffic, NOT against!**
2)Respect pedestrians—always yield to walkers and give them plenty of space.
3)Wear a helmet—it’s the law and essential for your safety.
4)Stay visible—use lights, especially in the evening or in bad weather.
