Police investigate shooting
Halifax Regional Police are investigating a shooting in Halifax that occurred last night.
At approximately 10 p.m. police responded to reports of multiple shots fired at an event in Africville Park in Halifax. Two men exchanged gun fire and shots went into the surrounding crowd striking five people.
The victims have been taken to hospital one of which is believed to have potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking the public to remain out of the area to allow officers to conduct the investigation.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or video from the area to call police at 902-490-5020.
