The largest parade in Atlantic Canada returns to the streets of Halifax! 


The parade is a moment for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to march, dance, wave, cheer, and celebrate Pride in the city we call home! The Accessible Viewing Space, Elders Area, and Described Viewing Area are all available along Sackville St, across from the Wanderers Grounds. The Low Sensory Viewing Space will be located inside the YMCA.

At 12:45 pm, all Pride festivities will pause for a moment of silence.

Parade starts at noon 

The 2024 parade route will start at the north end of Ahern Ave. The parade will travel south on Ahern, turn south east onto Bell Rd, turn west onto Sackville St, turn south onto Summer St, then travel east on Spring Garden, before turning north on Brunswick St, west on Sackville St, ending at the Halifax Pride Festival Site (Garrison Grounds).

The Accessible Viewing Area, Described Viewing Area, and Elders Area will be along the south side of Sackville St, across from the Wanderers Grounds. The Low Sensory Viewing Area will be inside the YMCA on Sackville St.

Accessible parking will be available at the Wanderers Lawn Bowling Club. Parking passes will be required.
