“Traffic Advisory: The Macdonald Bridge will be closed 7pm Friday, August 28 until 5:30am Monday, August 31. The sidewalk and bike lane will be open.
This is the first of four consecutive weekend closures required on the Macdonald Bridge. Several bearings on the Dartmouth approach spans are being replaced. Replacing bearings on the Macdonald Bridge is a capital project that began in 2015. The bearing have not been replaced since the bridge opened in 1955.
