A-IPOWER Inverter Generator 7100/5700 WATT model GXS7100IRDC recalled due to electrical hazard
Issue
The recalled generators are missing a connection between the generator frame and one conductor of the output circuit. This is a requirement for the Canadian Standards Association’s CSA C22.2 No. 100 safety standard and could pose an electrical hazard.
Affected products
This recall involves A-IPower Inverter Generator 7100/5700 WATT with Costco Item Number 1758140, model Number GXS7100IRDC, and UPC number 85001688144. They are red and black in colour.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled generators and return it to Costco or call 1-888-426-7826 to arrange a pick-up.
