ROBBERY AT ROBIE STREET SHELL GAS/NEEDS CONVENIENCE

At 10:49 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were dispatched to 5450 Inglis Street, Halifax, the Irving Gas Station, for a robbery in progress. Suspect indicated he had a firearm during the commission of the offence. No injuries.

Suspect described as a white male, believed to be 20-30 years old, 5’6″, black mask, black hoodie, and black pants. Suspect took cash from the till. Suspect was last seen leaving on foot.​ Unknown whether he continued on foot or left area in a vehicle. K9 dispatched to scene.

Multiple police units are currently assisting with scene containment and search of suspect.
