Halifax District RCMP investigates fatal crash
Halifax District RCMP is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Windsor Junction, near Fall River.
Yesterday, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Halifax District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a report of a crash on Hwy. 102 between exit 4C and 5. RCMP officers learned that a Honda Civic was travelling north when it left the roadway and came to rest in the ditch.
The driver of the vehicle, and lone occupant, a 20-year-old Newfoundland man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Hwy. 102 north was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
