2023 Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo is on now!

The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo is back from June 30 to July 3, 2023 is on now!

The 2023 Tattoo theme, OCEANS, will honour Nova Scotia’s deep connection to the sea and how our province’s stories and traditions are defined by a strong maritime history.

With its OCEANS theme, the Tattoo will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Naval Reserve, the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the Hector ship which brought the first Scottish settlers to Nova Scotia, and more.

“Nova Scotia’s diverse cultures are shaped by the sea. In fact, no community in the province is more than 60 kilometres from saltwater. The oceans theme will celebrate, commemorate and recognize the profound effect our oceans have on our lives past, present and future; locally and globally.” says Scott Long, Managing Director and Executive Producer of the Tattoo.

The Tattoo is bringing back its popular Kids are Free program, which allows for one free child ticket with the purchase of any adult or senior ticket to match. According to Long, “Youth engagement continues to be a priority for the show. In 2022 the percentage of total audience 18 years of age and under was an extraordinary 25 per cent, proving the Tattoo is high quality and accessible entertainment for all ages.”

The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo is the world’s largest annual indoor show, and it returns June 30-July 3, 2023, at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.

Tickets are available exclusively through the Ticket Atlantic Box Office online, and more information can be found on the Tattoo’s website.

The Tattoo is proudly supported by the Canadian Armed Forces, the Province of Nova Scotia, the Government of Canada, Halifax Regional Municipality, and corporate partners.
