Public service announcement – Nova Scotians invited to attend RCMP open house
In recognition of National Police Week (May 14-20), the Nova Scotia RCMP is hosting an open house at its Dartmouth headquarters, 80 Garland Ave., on May 17.
The open house, which will run 4 to 8 p.m., offers a unique opportunity for members of the public, including children, to interact with RCMP officers, view police equipment, watch tactical demonstrations, and learn about the RCMP’s role in community policing and crime prevention.
Open house participants will be treated to a performance by the Nova Scotia RCMP’s pipe and drum band.
