Residents invited to annual Greenhouse Open House
The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to attend the annual Greenhouse Open House – offering the opportunity to explore municipal greenhouses and have questions answered by municipal gardeners. There will be a limited number of plant giveaways (one per guest) while supplies last.
The Greenhouse Open House will take place on Saturday, May 20 at the Caledonia Road Greenhouse (62 Caledonia Road, Dartmouth) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The municipality celebrates the contribution of gardens and gardening in communities throughout the region, which include positive impacts on quality of life, creating safe and healthy spaces for neighbours to come together, and helping the municipality reach its climate action goals.
