**** Info via Kentville Police
It’s very disappointing this morning to see that someone (or a group of someones) destroyed an entire display of Pumpkin People, including smashing the built props, in the east end last night. Our apologies to any visitors who travelled here to kentville to see these today.
We were so happy to welcome everyone here for Harvest Festival on Saturday, and show off all of Gerry’s animal creations. Gerry has worked for weeks building these items. Unfortunately, this has set us back days/weeks worth of work, and Gerry will be a while having these items repaired. It is beyond being fixable on site, so this display will be removed and absent for a time.
Our apologies to any visitors for the destruction this person or people caused. Anyone who has any info about this incident should pass it along to the Kentville Police immediately. We will remind folks that destroying Pumpkin People is a crime, and not funny at all. The destruction of someone else’s property and hard work is gross, and pointless. If you see this type of activity happening please report it right away.
Please call 902-678-3378 if you have any information about this damage caused overnight on Saturday October 1st in the east end.
