Adoptable Highlight – Jasper
Ready to meet our resident polar bear? Just kidding!
Jasper is in search of his forever home at the ripe age of 8 years old! This lovable bully mix is attention seeking and wants nothing more than endless bum scritches! Jasper is on a special veterinary diet for his skin, called Z/D; this will need to be continued lifelong. Jasper’s skin was very inflamed when he first came to us and although it is looking a lot better he is still patchy but we find him just as handsome! He does well with his weekly baths and loves to roll around on the ground once it is all finished!
Jasper’s ideal home placement is one without any other animals. He seems to enjoy one on one time with his family and does not want to share any love that his humans have.
As loveable as Jasper is he is a bit of a power house and knows his strength. We feel a home willing to help work on his leash manners will benefit his new family for the long run. With his strength we do feel that a home with older teens is best suited for him.
Jasper is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. You’ll want to come in quick to get your snuggles before he is gone!
