Woodlawn Blood Collection Clinic temporary closure
The Woodlawn Blood Collection clinic in Dartmouth is currently experiencing a technical service interruption that is impacting computers and desk phone access, including incoming and outgoing calls.
The Clinic is closing early today at 3 p.m. and will remain closed until Monday August 15 at 7:00 a.m.
Anyone with an appointment booked at Woodlawn during this period is asked to go to the Dartmouth General Hospital blood collection clinic. Please bring your appointment confirmation and blood collection requisition.
We are working with our technical partners to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911.
For non-urgent care, please call your family doctor or visit a walk-in clinic.
For general health advice and information call 811, which is a service offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week by experienced registered nurses.
The Mental Health and Addictions Crisis Line can also be reached 24/7 by calling 1-888-429-8167.
All temporary closures can be found online at www.nshealth.ca/temporaryclosures.
