Police continue to investigate weapons complaint
Police continue to investigate a weapons complaint at the Halifax Shopping Center in Halifax.
Police have taken two men into custody in relation to the weapons investigation.
There is no threat to public safety at this time. Police are reopening the area of the Halifax Shopping Center to the public.
The investigation is ongoing and further information will be provided when it becomes available.
We thank the public for their patience and cooperation in allowing officers to safely conduct the investigation.

Police investigate weapons complaint
Police are investigating a weapons complaint in Halifax Regional Municipality
Police are on scene in the area of the Halifax Shopping Center located at 7001 Mumford Road in relation to a weapons complaint.
Police are asking the public to remain away from the shopping center and the surrounding areas to allow the officer to conduct their investigation.
