**** NS SPCA Release
With the recent public health measures, the SPCA need to refine guidelines for any visitors to the shelter. In order to ensure the SPCA continues to be here to assist animals in need , we will need your help, patience and understanding as we strive to keep our staff and visitors safe.
At this time, we are remaining open for visitors. To facilitate social distancing, there will be a limit of 2 people per family allowed in the shelter. We will also be limiting the overall number of groups in our facility at one time.
Due to the small size of our shelter, capacity is limited. Please understand that we may ask you to wait outside in your vehicle until someone else exits. However, we do want to serve everyone in a timely manner, so we may also ask you to limit the duration of your visit. Shelter staff will advise you if this is the case.
As always, if you have an urgent matter, please knock or ring the bell and we will do our best to assist you immediately. The SPCA strives to offer continued care to all animals in need during these difficult times.
