At approximately 6:50 a.m. yesterday, police, fire and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Hwy. 6 in Wallace Bay. Police learned that a car had been travelling east on Hwy. 6 when it left the road and came to rest in a ditch.

The driver and lone occupant of the car, a 54-year-old Colchester County man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. He was later airlifted by LifeFlight to a hospital in Halifax.
