Potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in all Zones, and on two flights​

Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in all zones, and on two flights. In addition to media releases, all potential exposure notifications are listed here:​ http://www.nshealth.ca/covid-exposures.

As Nova Scotia moves into a stage of living with COVID-19 as we go about our daily activities, there will be changes in how Public Health communicates COVID-19 public exposures. We will no longer be issuing exposures based on the risk levels of low, moderate, or high. We will be issuing COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status. COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION (there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public) If you were present at any of the following locations on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Capri Cabaret (235 Charlotte Street, Sydney) from 11:30 p.m. on September 18 to 2:00 a.m. on September 19. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 3.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Capri Cabaret (235 Charlotte Street, Sydney) from 11:30 p.m. on September 25 to 3:30 a.m. on September 26. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Cedar House Restaurant (899 NS-105, Boularderie East) on September 19 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 3.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ The Freight Shed: Waterside Bistro & Market (2 Jones Street, Baddeck) on September 26 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Duncan’s Pub (49 Victoria Street, Amherst) on September 25 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Mug & Anchor Pub (643 Main Street, Mahone Bay) on September 27 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 11.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Fundy Restaurant and Bar (32-34 Water Street, Digby) on September 30 between 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 14.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill – Dartmouth Crossing (107 Shubie Drive, Dartmouth) on September 25 between 8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.

COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION (the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19)

If you were present at the following location or on the following flights in the specified rows and seats on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ The Den Nightclub (2182 Gottingen Street, Halifax) from 10:30 p.m. on September 25 to 2:30 a.m. on September 26. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Air Canada 618 travelling on September 22 from Toronto (8:55 p.m.) to Halifax (11:59 p.m.). Passengers in rows 31-37, seats C, D and F. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.

·​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ WestJet 392 travelling on September 27 from Edmonton (10:30 p.m.) to Halifax (6:05 a.m. on September 28). Passengers in rows 4-10, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 12.

For those who require testing, book your COVID-19 test at https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or call 811 if you don’t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you. When booking your test online, please select the reason for testing as: I was at one of the exposure sites at the date and time identified in a recent Public Health public service announcement or letter where testing was recommended. Please get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location.
