Update: Police charge man in relation to stabbing on Friday night.
Police have charged a man in relation to a stabbing that occurred in Dartmouth last week.
On August 20 at approximately 9:58 p.m. police responded to 60 Alderney Drive in Dartmouth for a report of a group pf people fighting. Officers located a man who had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers arrested the suspect at the scene. Justin Jay William Tecomba, 22, is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court yesterday to face charges of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and assault police officer.
