Police issue 46 tickets for speeding and other vehicle offence
Yesterday, Halifax Regional Police issued 46 tickets for speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.
Members from the HRP Traffic Unit issued 46 summary offence tickets: 25 for speeding and 21 for other offences including no insurance, expired plates and failed safety inspections.
Officers spent time in the Joffre Street, Victoria Road and Highfield Park Drive areas of Dartmouth in relation to community concerns.
In a continued effort to address traffic safety issues and educate citizens on the rules of the road, our officers focus on speed enforcement. We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe.
