Quinpool Road – Lane Drops for Stormwater System Maintenance / Cobequid Road – Water System Maintenance
Today, October 15, Halifax Water crews will be undertaking stormwater system maintenance on Quinpool Road. This work will take place between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
During this work, Quinpool Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
The sidewalk will be closed near 6273 Quinpool Road. A pedestrian detour will be in place.
There will be no loss of water, wastewater, or stormwater services as a result of this work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please observe social/physical distancing requirements (2 metres of separation).

Cobequid Road – Water System Maintenance
Attention motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, tomorrow (Friday, October 16) Halifax Water will be undertaking water system maintenance in the intersection of Cobequid Road and Glendale Drive.
There will be lane drops in place on Cobequid Road and Glendale Drive tomorrow from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. See the attached work zone map.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater services.
